I spoke briefly with you earlier this year at a grafting workshop at The Seed Bank in Petaluma. You were kind enough to offer me one of your Gravenstein scions that I grafted that weekend.
I had been almost ready to “let it go” until next year and to try again but over this past weekend. I noticed some green leaves emerging!

I am now looking forward (some number of years!) to an apple pie!
It will be fun knowing where it came from.
